This couple planned an autumn wedding at the West End restaurant Iron Gate. They wanted a venue with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, and it truly delivered. Most of all, they wanted their photographer to capture the fun moments and authentic emotions felt throughout the reception. And as you can see, each photo feels alive with what was happening.

This couple is super outdoorsy and even got engaged in Glacier National Park. So naturally, they wanted to say “I do” in Virginia! They also wanted a photographer who knew how to work with different lighting conditions since they would be transferring from outdoor to indoor for their reception. Fortunately, that’s one of my specialties!
