A Rainy Wedding at the Waterfront In Georgetown

A rainy wedding at Fiola Mare in Georgetown proved that love shines in any weather. For this couple, February was more than just a month—it marked the anniversary of their first date. So when it came time to choose their wedding day, they embraced the same month, rain and all, to celebrate where their story began.

Their intimate celebration took place at Fiola Mare, a waterfront gem in Georgetown known for its warm ambiance and incredible views. As misty rain draped the city in a soft, romantic haze, guests gathered inside, savoring a cozy, candlelit reception filled with laughter, toasts, and the clinking of glasses.

But the celebration didn’t end there. In a nod to their very first date, the couple laced up their skates and hit the Georgetown ice rink after the reception. Still dressed in wedding attire, they glided across the rink, hand in hand, surrounded by the glow of city lights. It was the perfect way to close out a day that wasn’t about perfect conditions—it was about love, laughter, and embracing every moment, just as it was.
