Once you have had that private moment with your photos, the next question couples almost always ask is: “How do I actually share these with everyone?”
This post walks you through exactly how I deliver wedding photos to my couples, how your guests can access them, and the best ways to share your images beyond the gallery, including a few options that make truly meaningful gifts for the people who showed up for you.

Step One: Your Online Gallery (This Is Where Everything Lives)
I deliver all wedding galleries through Pic-Time, a professional photography platform built specifically for wedding photographers and their clients. When your gallery is ready, you will receive an email with a secure link. That link is your home base for everything. Here is what your gallery gives you:
Full resolution downloads. Every image in your gallery is available to download as full-resolution, print-quality files you own and can use however you like.
One year of access. Your gallery stays live for one full year. If you want to keep it beyond that, you can renew with a subscription. I will remind you before it expires, so nothing is lost.
AI-powered search. Pic-Time’s gallery includes facial recognition and smart search, so you and your guests can search for specific people, moments, or details (rings, first kiss, the cake) across hundreds of images without scrolling through everything manually.
A built-in shop. If you want to order prints, albums, or wall art directly from the gallery, you can do that too — everything is connected.
Step Two: Your Sneak Peek (The First Look at Your Photos)
Before your full gallery is ready, I send a sneak peek, a curated selection of images from your wedding day, delivered within a few days of the wedding. Depending on your collection, that is between 10 and 50 of my favorite moments from the day.
The sneak peek is designed to give you something to hold onto while the full editing process happens, and many couples use it to share a first look with family and friends on social media or in a group chat.

Step Three: Sharing With Guests
Once your full gallery is live, here are the best ways to share it.
The Guest Link (Easiest Option)
Pic-Time makes it simple to share your gallery with family and friends through a guest link. You copy the link from your gallery’s share tab and send it however you like (text, email, group chat, your wedding website).
Guests who access the gallery through the link can browse all your photos and download web-sized versions for free, which are perfectly sized for sharing on social media or keeping on their phones. They will not see any images you have chosen to hide, and they cannot alter the gallery in any way. This is the simplest option and works well for most couples.
Google Photos (Best for Family Members Who Want Everything)
For parents or close family members who want to save a large number of images in one place, I recommend creating a shared Google Photos album. Download the images you want to include from your Pic-Time gallery, upload them to a Google Photos album, and share the album link. Anyone with a Google account can access it, save individual photos, and add their own shots from the day, making it a natural place to collect both your professional images and candid phone photos from guests.
Most people already have a Gmail account, which makes this the lowest-friction option for older family members who might find a professional gallery platform less intuitive.
Printed Thank-You Cards
Selecting one or two favorite images from your gallery and printing them as thank-you cards is one of the most personal ways to share your photos. Guests receive something tangible they can keep, and it doubles as your formal thank-you for their presence and any gifts.
You can order prints directly through your Pic-Time gallery or through any professional print lab. I recommend ordering sooner rather than later; the photos will feel more timely in the weeks after your wedding than months down the road.
A Parent Album
If your parents or in-laws contributed meaningfully to your wedding, financially, emotionally, or both, a parent album is one of the most thoughtful gifts you can give them. A parent album is a smaller, professionally printed version of your wedding album, designed to sit on a coffee table or bookshelf. It is something they will pull out for years, especially when their own friends and family visit.

Sharing on Social Media
If you want to share photos on Instagram or Facebook, the images from your sneak peek or gallery are ready to post as-is. A few tips: Tag your vendors where relevant (your venue, florist, and other photographers who contributed to the day). This is a small gesture that vendors genuinely appreciate, and it often leads to your photos being reshared to their audiences.
If you used a wedding hashtag, remind guests to tag their own photos with it so you have one place to collect everything from the day, professional images alongside candid phone shots.

A Note on Downloads and Printing
Your gallery gives you full-resolution files, which means you can print anywhere, not just through the gallery shop. That said, professional print labs (including the one connected to your Pic-Time gallery) will consistently produce better results than consumer options like Walgreens or CVS. If you are printing anything larger than a 5×7, I recommend going through a professional lab.
