Just like my couples, I also need to feel comfortable working with you. The more I know about you, what you love, and even what you don’t, the more I can photograph your day in a way that truly feels like you.
Trust doesn’t just appear on the wedding day. It grows slowly, through moments where we connect beyond logistics and checklists. That connection is what allows you to relax, be present, and let me capture the real story of your day.

1. Discovery Calls
A discovery call is the first step if you’re curious about my wedding packages or just want to see if we’re a good fit. We can meet over coffee, chat on Zoom, or meet at my studio. Some photographers will just send over a price list by email, but I like to take the time to get to know you first. Every couple and every wedding is different, and that’s why I create packages that are personalized to what you actually need.
It’s never just about timelines or coverage hours. It’s about connection. One of my couples once told me that after our first call, it felt like catching up with a friend, not meeting another vendor. That’s exactly what I hope for, because when there’s trust and ease between us, that’s when the most honest and meaningful photos happen.

2. Engagement Session
Your engagement session is a real test for both of us. You get to see how I shoot and edit, and I get to see how you move and interact naturally. That’s why I love doing Slice of Life sessions with my couples. It’s a chance to capture something real and personal before the wedding.
One couple told me afterward that it completely changed how they felt on their wedding day. They already knew what to expect, they trusted the process, and it made everything easier. By the time your wedding arrives, the camera doesn’t feel intimidating anymore. You know I’ve got you.

3. Following My Work
I share my work often through my newsletter and Instagram. Many of my current couples love following along and seeing the latest weddings I’ve photographed. They tell me it makes them even more excited for their own.
Seeing consistent work also builds confidence. The more you see photos and stories that resonate with you, the more you can picture yourself in them. You know what my eye gravitates toward: genuine emotion, small gestures, quiet in-between moments.
One of my brides once said, “We often didn’t even know we were being photographed.” That’s the goal. The more connected you feel to how I work, the easier it is to forget about the camera completely.

4. Venue Walkthrough
Not all photographers offer this, but I love it. A venue walkthrough is an opportunity to meet in person again and explore your space together.
We talk through what matters to you, how you imagine your day flowing, and what pieces of your story are woven into your planning. It’s also a time for me to see the light, the environment, and the details that are most meaningful to you.
At one walkthrough, a couple showed me the backyard where they planned to say their vows — a place where they’d spent countless summer nights with friends. Knowing that made those photos so much more powerful.

5. Wedding Consultation in Your Favorite Place
Before your wedding, we meet one last time, somewhere that feels like you. It could be your favorite coffee shop or a casual happy hour spot. We talk through the timeline, but also about your friends, families, travel stories, anything.
It’s relaxed and easy, and it always makes me feel like we’ve known each other forever. One of my couples said, “At the end of the night, she felt like part of our group.” That’s how I want you to feel — like I’m not just there to take photos, but to tell your story from the inside.

When we’ve shared these moments – the conversations, the laughter, the stories – you don’t have to think about the camera anymore. You can simply live your day. That’s when the best photos happen. The ones that make you stop and say, “This feels exactly like us.”
If this sounds like the kind of experience you want, one built on connection, trust, and real moments, I’d love to meet you. Let’s grab a coffee, talk about your day, and start creating something that feels true to you. Start by contacting me here.
